Birch sap is mostly consumed orally thank to its boosting, remineralizing and anti-oxidant effects. This is a very good cure for kidney and liver, but also for skin diseases such as eczema and psoriasis.
As for the skin, birch sap is known for its anti-oxidant and anti-aging benefits. It also stimulates cell renewal and protects the skin from stress, inflammation, UV rays, pollution, etc.

It provides hydratation for dry, normal, combination, oily and sensitive skins, and also helps the protection and reconstruction of skin for a smooth and glowing skin.
- The most present ingredient which goes by the name of Betula Platyphylla Japonica Juice, simply means birch sap. It represens not les than 70% of the composition, not bad !
- Let’s note the Allantoin (healing and soothing), lemon peel oil (anti bacterial) and tea tree (anti oxidant).
This is, as usual, a very good composition from COSRX !
If you already knew the COSRX products, you won’t be disoriented by the minimalist packaging of this lotion.
The product texture is quite milky, my skin likes to absorb it. Its fragrance is pretty strong though… It smells like “tree”, I guess it is a good thing, right? This is not the most pampering fragrance I’ve been smelling these days, but it absolutely don’t bother me.
When I became aware of all birch sap benefits (also helps my general culture, I can tell!), I immediately suggested to my dad to test it out on his psoriasis. After the first application on his arm, it already itched a lot less! Stay tuned, but for my not-so-sensitive skin, it’s a jewel : This is a perfect moisturizing, soothing and purifying lotion.
